Welcome to Gleadless Primary School

We are a large primary serving a fantastic community located to the south of Sheffield. 

From their first day in Nursery until the day they leave us in Year Six, we aim high for every child in our Gleadless family. Teaching our wonderful pupils is a privilege and a joy! Our vision is for all our pupils to find and develop their talents while feeling safe and flourishing in our care.

We have a strong belief in our six core values: we are respectful, we have a voice, we are determined, we care, we have self-belief, we are a team. These values shape every aspect of our school life, from our curriculum to our daily interactions with children and our community. We want every child to understand that they belong in our school and that their voice is important. 

Our aim is for every pupil to experience success and to leave our school as confident communicators with the academic knowledge and social skills to make aspirational choices in their future lives. 

We are a hardworking and committed team who go the extra mile for the children and their families. Building positive relationships with parents and carers is fundamental to our work.
