Child Protection & Safeguarding

The Designated Safeguarding Lead at Gleadless Primary School is Megan Holloway. The DSL takes lead responsibility for child protection and wider safeguarding in the school.

During term time, the DSL will be available during school hours for staff to discuss any safeguarding concerns.

Outside of school hours (Mon - Fri before 7:30 AM and after 4:30 PM or during weekends and holidays), the DSL can be contacted via email (mholloway@gleadless.sheffield.sch.uk).

When the DSL is absent, the designated safeguarding deputies (Fran Palfreyman - Assistant Headteacher for SENCO and Inclusion, Michelle Storer - Safeguarding Liaison Officer, Katie Morton - Pupil Support Officer) adopt the role.
